Do you remember how & when you first started surfing?
About 14, my dad taught me on a mini mal then as I got older, I stepped up to the short board.
At what stage did you decide to make surfing your profession?
About 15, during the Ripcurl Grom search.
What is your proudest moment to date?
Surfing in the WQS at Margaret River - 2008, it was about 10ft.
What is your biggest goal?
Just to surf at the best of my ability and have fun on the way, I would love to learn how to do airs.
Where is your favourite place in the world to surf?
New pier Durban South Africa.
What sort of training do you have to do?
Yoga, and I use the fitness ball every day and I try to eat really healthy.
What does a typical day in the life of Emma involve?
Run the dog on the beach, Surf, I coach kids sometimes.
What inspires you?
All the young up and coming female surfers like Sally Fitzgibbons and Crissa More and my partner Dave Reardon-Smith.
